Baby animals!
The LA Zoo's baby giraffe is the cutest thing ever, especially in the Quick Time clip of him running around. The whole idea of zoos makes me a bit antsy, but caring for animals that might not otherwise survive is pretty cool:

"His mother, Asali, has had 11 calves by another male, but has shown herself to be a disinterested mother who doesn't nurse her babies sufficiently. After her first two babies, all of her young have been hand-raised in the Children's Zoo Animal Care Center."

I'm not sure that there's any good justification for cloning cats, and even cloning endangered species is problematic. Tabouli and Baba Ghanoush (genetic copies of Tahini) sure are cute, though. Their names are making me hungry, too.
