Bugs
Saturday night I saw a decent-sized cockroach in the kitchen. I screamed in surprise. Future Ambassador came running. After killing it, we did the dance of totally gross freak out. Future ISConsultant saw another one in the bathroom Sunday night, but did not scream. Tuesday night, I heard a scream from Future Ambassador's room. There was a fairly large spider on her floor. She cleverly trapped it between two sheets of paper before smushing it with a shoe. Future ISConsultant protested that spiders shouldn't be killed.
"It was bigger than a spider! It was a spider scorpion!"
Future ISConsultant and I have volunteered for future safe, live spider removal duty. Future Ambassador says that's fine for spiders, but spider scorpions must be killed.
