Let us now praise modern technology
Hooray, I have broadband access working at home now, I've installed the Google Toolbar, and I've got my hallowe'en photos uploaded. Now Future Thinktanker and I just need to get a wireless router and I can be surfing the weeeb from bed, baby.
Though eLondon (the electricity people) are sending mean letters because the bill from the previous tenants wasn't paid. It could be that our power gets cut off this weekend even though it's not our bill and we've called to make sure they know we're not the delinquents. The property manager should be sorting this out tomorrow.
My flat is really not third-worldy, really. We haven't even seen very many more cockroaches, and we didn't resort to pentagrams.
