Email from Wendy (avoider of the shift key) with subject line "death to the verb"
read this thing in the weekend's globe and mail, which was some french artist who had written a book without verbs. and staged a funeral for the verb as publicity/opening/whatever. the review, reprinted i think from the new york times, was similarly verbless. i am not so skilled, however. i thought you would enjoy it, though. i can't seem to find the article on the g&m website, but maybe you'll have more luck. the actual article is currently soggy in my recycle box...
Clever review locatable, but not on Globe and Mail website or that of NY Times. Strangely amusing. Tempting style but emulation not habit-forming, hopefully.
